About West Karbi Anglong Recruitment 2026
The Office of the District Commissioner, West Karbi Anglong, Hamren has announced recruitment for the temporary engagement of one Fellow at Amri Development Block under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP). The engagement will be for a period of nine months and is intended to support developmental initiatives, project monitoring, data analysis, and coordination activities at the block level.
The selected candidate will work closely with block-level officials, district authorities, and stakeholders involved in the implementation of developmental programmes under the Aspirational Block Programme.

Vacancies: A total of 1 Fellow post has been announced for Amri Development Block under the Aspirational Block Programme.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Applicants holding a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree will be given preference.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 30 June 2026.
Stipend: The selected Fellow will receive a monthly stipend of ₹55,000. Professional tax deductions will be applicable as prescribed.
Preferred Skills: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Government or Private sector development projects, project management, data analysis, and presentation. Familiarity with social media tools and proficiency in local languages will be considered advantageous.

Position Details
The Fellow will assist in implementing and monitoring development initiatives under the Aspirational Block Programme. Key responsibilities include coordinating with block-level officials, conducting field visits, analysing development indicators, preparing reports, documenting best practices, organizing awareness programmes, and providing evidence-based recommendations for improving developmental outcomes.
The position also involves regular interaction with district authorities, participation in training programmes organized by NITI Aayog and other agencies, and monitoring progress through the Aspirational Block Programme portal.
