About BCPL Recruitment 2026

BCPL has announced recruitment for Non-Executive positions across Chemical, Civil, Human Resources, Instrumentation, Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.

The regular Non-Executive posts carry pay scales of ₹25,000–₹81,430 and ₹28,500–₹86,570, depending on the grade. The advertisement also includes 3 PwBD-reserved trainee positions carrying a stipend of ₹21,000 per month during the training period.

Selected candidates for the regular posts will be placed on one year of probation and will receive Basic Pay along with Industrial Dearness Allowance and other applicable benefits.

In addition, 3 posts are reserved for PwBD candidates: Operator (Chemical) Trainee, Technician (Mechanical) Trainee and Accounts Assistant Trainee.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Foreman (Chemical): Diploma in Chemical, Petrochemical, Chemical Technology or Petrochemical Technology with minimum 55% marks, plus 2 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Foreman (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks, plus 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.

Junior Superintendent (Human Resources): Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations, with minimum 50% marks in each, plus 2 years relevant post-qualification experience. Candidates should be proficient in personal computer operations.

Foreman (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics or related specified discipline with minimum 55% marks, plus 2 years relevant experience.

Operator (Chemical): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks, or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks, plus 1 year relevant post-qualification experience.

Technician (Electrical): Matriculation plus ITI Tradesmanship/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical or Wireman Trade, with 2 years relevant experience.

Technician (Instrumentation): Matriculation plus ITI Tradesmanship/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Instrumentation Trade, with 2 years relevant experience.

Technician (Mechanical): Matriculation plus ITI Tradesmanship/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist or Turner Trade, with 2 years relevant experience.

For the PwBD-reserved trainee positions, the relevant qualification is specified separately in the advertisement and candidates will undergo at least one year of training with a stipend of ₹21,000 per month.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is:

  • 32 years for S-5 posts
  • 30 years for S-3 posts

The cut-off date for determining age and post-qualification experience is 9 October 2026.

Age relaxation includes 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD-OBC (NCL) and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST, subject to the conditions specified in the advertisement.

The maximum upper age after all applicable relaxations cannot exceed 56 years.

Salary & Benefits: Candidates selected for the regular posts will receive the initial Basic Pay within the applicable pay scale along with Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA).

Other benefits include Perquisites at 35% of Basic Pay, North-East Allowance at 10% of Basic Pay for postings in the North-East region, HRA, Conveyance Maintenance Expenses Reimbursement (CMER), medical facilities, Post Retirement Medical Scheme (PRMS) and Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS), as applicable under BCPL rules.

BCPL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

BCPL will shortlist apparently eligible candidates for the further selection process. Depending on the post and recruitment requirements, the selection process may include:
