Oil India Limited (OIL) is a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India engaged in oil and gas exploration, production, and transportation activities. The company operates major oilfield and pipeline projects across Assam and other regions of India.
Through this special recruitment drive, OIL aims to recruit eligible PwBD candidates for technical and office-based workperson positions at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan. Selected candidates may be required to work in operational areas including remote and production-based installations.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the required educational qualification relevant to the post they are applying for. Trade posts require NCVT/SCVT certificates in relevant trades, while Junior Engineer candidates must possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering with required competency certificate.
For Junior Office Assistant post, candidates must have computer application certification and practical knowledge of office software.
Age Limit (as on 08 June 2026):
- General: 18 to 40 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 45 years
- OBC (NCL): 18 to 43 years

Reservation & Relaxation: This recruitment is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Reservation is applicable across categories including Low Vision (LV), Hard of Hearing (HH), Locomotor Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness, and Multiple Disabilities depending on post suitability.
PwBD candidates must possess valid disability certificate with minimum 40% disability issued by competent authority.
Eligibility Note: Candidates must possess valid Employment Exchange Registration Card of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh at the time of application. All certificates and qualifications must be valid on or before 08 June 2026.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME)
The CBT will carry 100 marks and include General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Domain/Technical Knowledge sections. There will be no negative marking in the examination.
The examination will be conducted in both English and Assamese languages.
