State Bank of India (SBI) is India’s largest public sector bank with nationwide and international banking operations. SBI regularly recruits Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) for professional and technical banking roles across different departments.

Eligibility
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Mandatory Certification:
- Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF
Preferred Certifications:
- Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS)
- Certificate in Trade Finance
- Certificate in International Banking
All certifications should be dated on or before 30 April 2026.
Experience Requirement: Candidates must have minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in supervisory or official role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.
Age Limit (as on 30 April 2026):
Minimum Age: 23 Years
Maximum Age: 32 Years
Reservation & Relaxation:
Upper age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- PwBD (UR/EWS) – 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC) – 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 Years
PwBD Eligibility: Reservation is applicable for benchmark disability categories including:
- Visually Impaired (VI)
- Hearing Impaired (HI)
- Locomotor Disability (LD)
