Pay Scale: IDA Pay Scale ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University/Institute along with valid GATE score in Civil Engineering for the year 2024, 2025, or 2026.
PwBD Reservation: Out of 85 posts, 2 posts are reserved horizontally for PwBD categories including:
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- One Arm / One Leg / Leprosy Cured / Dwarfism / Acid Attack Victims
👉 Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India depending on project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University or Institute.
Applicants must also have qualified GATE Examination in Civil Engineering discipline in any one of the following years:
- GATE 2024
- GATE 2025
- GATE 2026
Only candidates with valid GATE score are eligible to apply.
Age Limit (as on closing date of application):
Maximum Age: 34 years
Reservation & Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen with minimum 5 years military service are also eligible for relaxation as per notification.
PwBD Eligibility: PwBD reservation is applicable for:
- Deaf / Hard of Hearing (HH)
- One Arm (OA)
- One Leg (OL)
- Leprosy Cured (LC)
- Dwarfism (Dw)
- Acid Attack Victims (AAV)
Functional requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, reading, writing, communication, and manipulation by fingers.
Eligibility Note: Candidates must possess valid category certificates for reservation benefits during document verification.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on valid GATE score in Civil Engineering.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of best GATE score obtained in 2024, 2025, or 2026. In case of tie in scores, older candidates will be given preference. If date of birth is also same, selection will be decided alphabetically by first name as recorded in Class 10 certificate.
