Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and one of India’s leading upstream oil and gas companies, has invited eligible candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for contractual engagement as Logging Assistants.
The engagement is purely temporary and is intended for deployment at OIL’s Field Headquarters in Duliajan. Selected candidates may be required to work in shifts, at remote operational locations, and on on-call duty depending on operational requirements.

Key Recruitment Information
Vacancies: A total of 9 Contractual Logging Assistant vacancies have been announced.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a Government-recognized Board and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT or SCVT in any one of the following trades:

Candidates must also have at least six months of post-qualification work experience as an assistant in drilling, workover, logging, or production-related activities in the oil and gas sector.
Age Requirement: As on the date of registration for the Walk-in Personal Assessment:

Age relaxation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
Monthly Emoluments: Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly emolument of ₹21,450 along with a variable payment of ₹825 per working day.
Post Details
The recruitment is for Contractual Logging Assistant positions to support well logging and field operations at OIL installations.
Selected candidates will assist in:

| Loading and unloading of equipment |
| Rig-up and rig-down operations |
| Workshop and field maintenance activities |
| Handling logging accessories and operational equipment |
| Supporting drilling and workover operations as assigned |
The engagement is initially for 6 months and may be extended in phases based on operational requirements, performance, and physical fitness, up to a maximum contractual period of 24 months.
OIL India Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection will be based on a Walk-in Personal Assessment carrying 100 marks.
Candidates securing 50 marks or above will be considered qualified. Final selection will be prepared purely on merit based on the marks obtained in the Personal Assessment.
